Introduction and Scope


The most viable option for sustainability in cement industry is blending of cement clinker with supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs). But the availability of common SCMs such as fly ash and slag is limited. Calcined clays are promising as SCMs to meet the future demand of the cement industry.

This conference aims to follow up on the scientific studies and experiences of the application of calcined clays in cement and concrete construction.
